Talk and Play Therapy for Children
Talk and play therapy provide a safe and supportive space for children to express their thoughts and feelings. These therapies help children process emotions, build coping skills, and develop confidence through conversation, creative activities, and play-based techniques.
How It Helps:
- Encourages emotional expression in a child-friendly way
- Builds resilience and problem-solving skills
- Supports social and communication development
- Helps manage anxiety, stress, and behavioural challenges
What to Expect:
Therapists use storytelling, drawing, role-playing, and toys to help children communicate their feelings in a way that feels natural and comfortable. Sessions are tailored to the child's needs, providing guidance and support as they navigate emotions and experiences.
Talk and play therapy are especially beneficial for children facing anxiety, low mood, social difficulties, trauma, or life changes. If you think your child could benefit, consider speaking to a professional for support.
