Intent
We look to foster social progress amongst pupils by encouraging interaction with their peers in a less formal, but structured environment, that will boost their social development. Through team-based activities and shared experiences, we help pupils build friendships, develop confidence, and enhance their overall wellbeing. This is especially valuable for children who may not have siblings at home or who live far from their friends.
Implementation
The programme is led by our Enrichment Lead and supported by a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants. It is open to all pupils at Salmons Brook School.
Under our CREATE framework we use our Enrichment programme to:
-
Engage and grow together as part of an inclusive Community, rooted in fairness.
-
Develop secure and lasting Relationships, fostered by kindness.
-
Share experiences that provide Enrichment, enhanced by teamwork.
-
Foster ambitious Aspirations, through a commitment to learning.
